Chief Accountant (ZANE7353)

For Zara in Kyiv, Ukraine (Ukraine)

Functions

1. Lead the Inditex Ukrainian accounting team and ensuring Inditex meets all local accounting, tax and legal requirements for all Group Brands

Meet all Group requirements in relation to Group procedures and Group Reporting, especially in relation to the month-end closing reporting (under IFRS)

Local financial and tax reporting

Keep control of the daily accounting records in 1C system

2. Supporting of external audits, tax audits

3. Cash flow forecast

4. Supervise all task related to general affairs, personnel management.

5. Handle the strategic contacts with legal, tax and other authorities, banks

Requirements

  • University education
  • 3 to 5 years' work experience in similar post
  • Essential to be resident in Ukraine, Ukraine
  • Very good knowledge of spoken English andSpanish
  • Availability to work on a full time basis
    • PROFILE:
    • The successful candidate will have:
    • 1. At least 4 years accounting experience.
    • 2. A bachelor’s or higher degree in Finance, Economics or other relevant subjects.
    • 3. Fluency in English, and a professional writing skill is a must.
    • 4. PC skill (MS-word, excel, access)
    • 5. Knowledge of 1CEnterprise 8.0/8.1 accounting system
    • 6. Strong knowledge of advanced Ukrainian accounting principles and procedures and IFRS
    • 7. Knowledge of commercial laws, tax laws, labour’s laws in Ukraine.
    • 8. Strong people Management skills
    • 9. Strong leadership by assigning work/projects and resolving problems.
    • 10. Strong analytical skills.
    • 11. Experience in the Big 4 and retail trade will be highly valuable
    • 12. Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills within and outside the department/company
