Baby ´s Designer (ZADM4823)
For Zara in A Coruña, La Coruña (Spain)
You will be in permanent contact with the international circuits that define fashion trends each season. This will be the starting point to activate all of your creative energy. At Inditex collections are launched to enrich every week with new designs and proposals that improve our product offer. We re-invent trends because we adapt them to what our customers want, and win the battle of the very latest style.
Our team draws on both the experience of professionals and the new ideas of young designers starting their careers with us.
Functions
Within the Zara Baby´s Department you will be responsible for the creation and production of our collection"0 to 36 months "
•You will be in charge of the model design and colour election.
•You will investigate and establish the trends that are going to define and mark the season: trip to fairs, shopping, show - rooms, fashionable magazines....
•Design and Selection of fabrics, development of prints and colours.
•Integration and coordination with the rest of the team of designers and buyers.
•Permanent contact and suppliers follow up.
•Elaboration of specification Technical S. and coordination with pattern design establishing the rectifications in the models up to the production of the first prototype.
•To supervise the confection of the first sample and the tests realize on the model/manikin.
•To gather information about the demands of the clients / shops.
Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in similar position
- Available to travel
- •Fashion design qualification from top European Design school
- •Availability to live and work in La Coruña (Spain)
- •Willing to learn Spanish
- •Availability for frequent travel
- •We are looking for people with strong awareness of the market in fashion,flexible, creative ,team player and very identificate with Zara.
